I like the suggestions I'm seeing, I'd like to reply though to Kaitos. My text will be in orangish red. Soo, I had an idea for the Umineko mode: Golden Hour - On/Off - This one will work ONLY if the cause of the end of the game is time running out. Basically, at 5 AM, all students would start seeing the goat-men, who would disappear when they get in contact, golden butterflies which do no harm and whisper "The prize is coming...". Goat-men? Care to explain. I have only watched a couple of episodes of the first arc of Umineko and haven't watched more.6 AM would go something along the lines of "As the clock hits 6 AM, the hands of the clock stop, and so do you.", and the Witch would receive such choices: - "Would you want to start a banquet? - Yes/No" - If Yes is picked, the questions continue. If No is picked, the game ends. The question continues? If you want to make a suggestion please explain it deeply.- "Would you want to chain the non-believers?" - If Yes is picked, everyone who has not converted to Witch's side gets chained and forced to walk few tiles behind the witch. What the hell is this? All because you oppose the witch you will get chained? This can mess up people's RP from them turning from a student into a slave in one night.- "Would you want more guests for the feast? Yes/No" - If Yes is picked, all the watchers receive a question "Do you want to go on a feast? Yes/No". Any Watcher who says Yes will turn into a goatman and teleport into the hall. This sounds interesting, I must say. Those who miss the round will be able to get back in.- "Would you want to reward your Furnitures? Yes/No" - Anyone who has been turned into Furniture receives [Frosty, decide pls]. Wait what...? Turned into Furniture? Ok, Frosty will decide anyway. After those, all the survivors get text "Everything around you goes white.". Everyone gets teleported into a expensive looking hall, which [as well as most of what I imagine] looks something like this (http://tinyurl.com/kgdjg4s - pages 9 - 22). Also, the game is up for additional [Frosty, decide pls] in-game hours. Once again will just let Frosty decide.Pros:
- More Umineko in the Umineko mode - More feel to the RP - You don't really see what happens when the time ends, but with Golden Hour, you will.Cons:
- Requires RP co-operation (which will probably be difficult in the full version) - Lengthens the round - One more toggleEqual number of Pro's and Cons but I can guess many other people will come up with even more. Good Job, overall.

- Requires RP co-operation (which will probably be difficult in the full version) - Lengthens the round - One more toggleEh. I'll be honest, I dislike this idea. The cons outweigh any pros, especially since in my opinion 2/3 of the pros you listed ARE cons. More Umineko in Umineko Mode isn't always necessarily a good thing, since I think we should keep it pretty open-ended in many regards. We don't need to keep adding more and more things from Umineko's plot that'll just confuse someone unfamiliar with Umineko even more. People already have a hard enough time following the purpose of the "Truths", and slapping a sudden post-game banquet onto everything would be pretty jarring to those people. Plus, as has been pointed out, we shouldn't let the Witch be too much like Beatrice specifically. The witch should be as "generic" as can be, frankly. Not to mention, this much effort into such a feature would seem like too much bias towards Umineko Mode. I love Umineko, and I'm sure this will be my favorite mode forever, but Death Note Mode should be getting equal treatment in terms of how it's set up and played out. Not seeing how the game ends exactly is more of a plus, in my opinion. It gives a lot of mystery to the fate of the survivors if the witch happens to be alive. After all, even in Umineko itself, the very final moments of some of the episodes are left ambiguous. That's intentional, and it works well with Mitadake/Pyrce/Mystery High's round system. The first con you listed is the strongest component that breaks this idea. For one, there's NO way to confirm who's on the witch's side and who isn't. It's easy to just lie and click that you believed in the witch or vice versa. A game mechanic should never be dependent on something like that. Additionally, something like your idea could easily be done without implementing a specific feature for it. How? Easy, through pure RP. Just set the game's time limit to longer hours, and once things are "settled" as far as the witch goes, they can hold an event like this ICly if they want. Mind you, I still don't even think a banquet would usually add that much anyway, but sometimes it could, so I guess someone could do this if they really wanted. Really, the fact that so much of your idea depends on how people RP is the biggest problem. For that reason, it shouldn't be a feature, and should just be pure RP. Hell, someone could probably make a custom map with a normally impossible to enter banquet room that only the witch can access to do this idea exactly.

Goat-men? Care to explain. I have only watched a couple of episodes of the first arc of Umineko and haven't watched more. The weakest and simplest form of furniture, which are exactly what they sound like. Big hulking dudes with goat heads. The question continues? If you want to make a suggestion please explain it deeply. He meant the questions he listed will continue to be asked. If you answer "no" to the first question, the game won't ask you the rest of the banquet questions. Answers in blue.

And this is what just makes me wanna go " ZETSUBOUSHITA!". The fact that the quality of RPs will most likely fall down to level of Pyrce getting "trolled", to the point even the truths might go down the toilet, since it'll become "Witch vs. rest of the world" deathmatch. That is truly despair-bringing. I'm surprised that Enoshima Junko didn't use that.

But, it's up to Frosty to decide if and when features will make it in, so you never know. I think it is pretty interesting. The only downsides may be that it is time consuming and made even worse with bad RP co-operation.

Yeah, I'm with Lambda on this idea. I don't think it would add very much to RP and would just confuse anyone who hasn't played Umineko. It'd be too much of a railroad for RPs too.
As for furniture, I'm open to the idea but I don't know if I'd want to introduce playable goatmen. Giving other students the ability to be furniture might be troublesome as some people might refuse to obey the witch, but it could still be the best option. The idea of the anti-magic toxin though is to suggest that the witch isn't really performing magic and that it's a normal human committing the murders, but within the catbox anything can happen. So any furniture would have to be in the form of accomplices, as I think was suggested. I'm having trouble trying to decide how it might work though.

I'm late to this party, but personally I'm still liking the idea of the Voyager witch. An interesting role to say the least, given she could spend her entire round not even revealing what she was. Maybe add some dynamic to it by the fact the original!witch is trying to find her/him as part of that role?

The Voyager Witch is a very optional role that I could see being toggled, only meant for bigger games in most cases, since essentially they are a neutral "fuck around and do whatever" role. That is, UNLESS we go with the idea I mentioned earlier of possibly making her more oriented towards aiding a human Detective in taking down the other Witch, which would give Voyager an actual purpose and dynamic. It could be played either way, really, depending on who the Voyager is. After all, that's how it was in canon too. Bern and Lambda flip-flopped a lot between being neutral, for Beatrice, and against Beatrice. It was pretty random and based on just whatever they felt like doing. That's the kind of thing I think should generally be conveyed through the role, a sense of "freedom" but also "I'm bored and need to do something" to discourage being TOO neutral. Messing around with powers and trolling everyone is all well and good, but it can be much more satisfying and quenching to one's boredom to actually take up a purpose and work towards a goal.
