It's a shame that jokes can't be played on the shell. I was looking forward to 'Lynch Mode', depicting a killer out to get the one black kid in the school, and to 'Conquest Mode', where a stereotypical religious zealout kills anyone who refuses to convert with magic granted to them by their deity.

Edit: with that logic, we should get rid of pretty much every mode since nearly every mode is controversial. Hell, Madoka is about suicidal folks spawning monsters from their bodies that cause other folks to become suicidal. Just because I'm a depressed guy that has been on-off suicidal for four years doesn't mean that I don't enjoy Madoka and that I absolutely loathe it because of how it portrays people like me. I don't like it for very different reasons.

Tldr that's a stupid reason to refuse to run the mode but hey its his shell/game. Whatever floats your boat and all.

Edit Edit: that actually makes me really mad. I didn't know why at first but now I do- why do you care what the community says? You've argued before, Meta, that the community doesn't know what is best for the game as a whole in most cases and thus community-pushed suggestions should be approved by you, so unless you yourself explicitly don't like the mode, why do you presend like you give a shit about what people will say??

What happened to keeping the spirit of mh??? Pretty sure an aspect of that was the art of fucking around and parodying media, whether it be entertainment or the news. Do you remember how many times people in normal on MH tried to be like terrorists bombing the school as if it were 9/11? I don't but it was a lot but it was usually very funny and any neighsayers were just being thin-skinned and obtuse. A mode like this definitely isnt as bad as that tho.

Edit edit edit: this mode should be made anyway, just because. Seems pretty easy to do anyway. Make it so that the feminist leader has some sort of power, like being unable to be hurt by males besides the shaman or something.

I can pretty much echo Mind's statement, since honestly she said about what I feel about the situation anyways. The truth is, as much as it hurts, the Mitadake we once knew is long gone. The things that once would have been laughed about are now more likely to cause a massive argument. I get where you're coming from, but the truth is, times have changed since then. People demand a serious, immersive experience. (Which makes no sense to me since if you break the High games down to their core the whole concept is fucking stupid, but who am I to judge what they want?)

Fact is, times really have changed. While this would have probably worked back then, both because it was a different time and Katawa Shoujo was MUCH more relevant and easy to spot a reference, now it's only bound to cause a gigantic shitstorm. A shitstorm which Frosty would have to deal with, as it is his server. For once, I agree with Frosty 100% on this. It's only going to cause undue stress to an already stressed community that does not need it right now.
