I didn't mean to do it. I didn't mean to. I suppose I was scared.
I knew that someone was catching on. I didn't expect her to. The teacher. She's. No, I can't dwell very long on that. I'll leave, now. I'm sorry, Teacher. I'll remember you, too.

Warning: Trace of a Glitch detected in the vicinity, classified as Level 7. DIS official sent to investigate. Facility will remain in lockdown until situation has been cleared.
How awfully loud. I thought to myself as I raised my head from the desk, glancing about. My classmate for this evening, an adorable girl with two pigtails, sporting goggles as well, seemed startled about it, sputtering and shaking her fist towards the announcement system in the classroom. I couldn't help but chuckle at that. That was quite adorable, indeed.
"I'm sure that they'll find the... Glitch,"I say, easily, with a smile on my face in order to help calm her down.
"The Glitch? I'm not worried about this Glitch thing, you see. Uh, I had something to do this evening, and darnit, now I can't get out and... Argh!" The girl cried out, looking upset about the fact she was trapped. I don't really mind, I understand that some people have things to do. I was a little worried too, to be quite honest, but I wouldn't speak that out to her. After a moment, I stood and walked over to where she sat, reaching over to pat her shoulder a little bit, gently, of course.
"Come now, I'm sure that The Glitch wouldn't have even stayed here," I said to her, before turning on my heel and beginning to walk towards the door. "That said, I think we're allowed to leave, right? I just transferred here!" I called back. The girl seemed confused at my calm and upbeat demeanor, before sighing. She gave a somewhat pitiful smile, standing and walking out of classroom 1-B with me.
The hallways were almost quiet, there were footsteps about, probably other students. They sounded pretty bummed out about the deal, too. I paused, hearing a more adult voice.
"Have no worries. you'll be released once we find The Glitch. Please stick close together and do nothing foolish. The Glitches are known to be extremely strong and dangerous. If you suspect one might be hiding somewhere, please inform me immediately." The voice said aloud. It came from behind the lockers, so I simply rounded the corner, seeing the helpful looking DIS Officer standing there, surrounded by a few students. I saw a girl with grey hair, a boy with a large mess of red hair, another with a bush of green, and a girl with the longest pink hair I'd seen so far. I wondered for a moment how long it took to take care of such a large amount, before simply smiling and marching up. My classmate followed up behind me, sticking her head out to glance around me.
"... Jeez. Why's it so packed? I bet there's others, here, too. Not just this. Is that the DIS officer? He looks kind of... er... Tacky? Something like that."The girl said, reaching up to readjust her goggles in an idle manner.
I couldn't help but chuckle at her blunt comment. The DIS Officer looked only slightly disgruntled at the comment, before shrugging.
"My clothing aside, I--"
"AHHHH!" That loud shout hurt my ears, and it caused near everyone in the hallway to jump. The DIS Officer quickly turned, running towards the sound, which came from the courtyard. It took a moment for the rest of us to react, but everyone soon followed. My classmate was quite fast to run after, actually.
Upon entering, I cringed, noticing the large amount of people. A girl with alarmingly long green hair was the ground, her mouth covered, her expression that of mixed horror and surprise. Stepping over past a boy with spiked blonde hair and another with a bandana, I stared towards the attraction of the night.
Ah. It was a dead body. I noted silently, furrowing my brow. Being around this close was making my skin crawl. Or maybe that was just me. Whatever it was, I felt a little out of place, so I stepped back, letting the DIS Officer pass me by.
"Calm down, everyone will be alright! Please clear from the body, everyone!" The officer quickly shouted, and alarmingly enough, the students did step backwards in a compliant manner. Someone, a girl with red hair, even helped the poor fallen girl up. I hoped they had a paper bag for that.
While he was looking over the body, I only let out a sigh, turning to glance around at the other students. I felt out of place all of a sudden, and I just couldn't point out why. At least I probably wasn't the only one. That poor with the terrible mess of red hair was also standing away from the crowd, his arms crossed, and he looked to be mumbling to himself. I could hardly tell, though. Mess of hair and all.
So I walked over next to him, giving a bright smile and said,"Are you alright?" I asked in the friendliest voice I could muster. He only turned his head towards me and, I presumed, stared.
"Me? I'm fine ... It just ... Sucks. To be stuck here. With something that's a lie." The boy said in a low tone that spoke both boredom and annoyance, with a little bit of disappointment. So he didn't believe that glitches existed, huh? That was a little strange. They had officers and everything, so I doubt they would lie about something so serious.
I smile nonetheless, reaching over to pat him on the back. Which he quickly evaded. I hit empty air, but continued to stay,"I'm sure everything will be sorted out soon enough." He looked at me funny, before turning to wander out of the courtyard. Not much of a talker, I see.
"Alright, everyone. Please do not touch the body. I can confirm that The Glitch has claimed its first victim tonight. I apologize to those that knew her. Listen, stay close to each other, yell, scream, whatever you need to do if you're in trouble, or if you find the glitch. They're easy to spot out from the rest of us when they appear." I heard the DIS Officer explain. He was quite efficient, I admit.
"So we need the buddy system," a voice behind me piped up. It caused me to jump, spinning around in a bit of a dizzy manner. I let out a bit of a chuckle, holding my head.
"Oh, classmate, we meet yet again!" I exclaim, giving a nervous laugh once more. I felt surprisingly dizzy after spinning around so suddenly, but it was probably because I'm not physically fit. When I went home, I slept in bed a lot, so I can safely say that it was due to being as weak as a jelly fish without stingers.
"My name's Madoka Hideki, you know. Anyway, do you know what to do? You seem pretty.. Eh... er... Chill? About this entire thing, so, you know." My classmate confessed, crossing her arms and glancing away, before looking back forward with a sort of glare in her eyes. I gave a shrug in response, pausing for a moment. well, I wouldn't mind company. She was certainly nice, at least to me, so it wasn't a bad idea.
"Well, I say we simply follow what the DIS Officer says~ Maybe we help find the Glitch, we can get out faster!"I recommended, grinning. The girl looked at me with a quizzical expression, before nodding.
"That sounds like a bad idea,"Another voice, female in nature, piped up. It was quiet, but serious. "What if they attack you?" I turned around, seeing a girl with minty green hair and an eye patch over one of her eyes.
"Ah, then we yell very loudly and hope someone can hear us!" I quickly replied, grinning in a sort of stupid manner that I liked to call, well, stupid.
"You're reckless,"The girl's friend, at least I assumed to be friend, commented. He looked to be about her age, but despite his words, the boy with silver hair had a carefree expression on his face,"But, when you live only one life, I guess that's to be expected."
"I really just want to be able to get out of here and watch my TV Shows. Uhm. I mean. To go to bed and study hard. Yes. not in that order! Erm... Anyway, let's see... Who would be a Glitch, or where would they hide..." The girl with those adorable pigtails began to mumble to herself. I thought back to the boy with red hair, then nudged her side.
"Hideki, there was a boy that wandered off on his own just earlier. Shouldn't we go find him to make sure that he's alright?" I asked, putting on a frown to seem concerned. I was concerned, it's just a little hard for me to show it, you see!
"Huh? Why-"
"What are you all talking about over here? Don't do anything reckless. What was this about someone going off on their own?" The officer stepped up to the four of us, causing all of our heads to turn in his direction. He didn't seem shaken by it at all. "Hm... He could be in danger, if what I'm hearing is correct. I didn't really want to ask for help from you guys, since you shouldn't be involved, but can you help me find anyone on their own? It's best no one be in danger."
I didn't mind the request at all. I gave a grin and a thumbs up. The boy with silver hair mirrored me. I thought that I might like him. Seemed like a nice guy. His asymmetrical hair needed an awful lot of work, though...
The officer nodded, smiling at the encouraging reply, before quickly clearing his throat,"Follow me, then. We'll search downstairs, then upstairs. The others are in groups on their own, so I assure they'll be fine for now." With that, he turned and quickly marched off. Well, that soldier just really got down to business, didn't he? I glanced towards the time, noting it. Ah. It was Eight-thirty already. Amazing... Did I really not notice the time fly past? I stood there, only to be nudged by my classmate again.
"Eh? Oh, sorry!" I quickly walked after the group, laughing a bit to myself. I was such an airhead, sometimes...
It took some time. We found others. A boy with goggles and a boy with a bandana were playing catch in the library-Which is a dangerous thing to do! The DIS Officer looked like he might scold them, but just shook his head and let them be. The next room we checked, it had two people with sunglasses and canes sitting there in the tea room. They appeared to be playing a game of sort. The Officer stared awkwardly for a few moments, before closing the door. Yeah, we should let them play, I thought.
After several more incidents, one including a silver haired girl attempting to perform surgery on a teddy bear with an orange haired girl assisting her as her nurse, we finally found the boy with red hair.
He was in the security room.
The boy stood there, staring at the screens. Due to how many there were, we also checked. I instantly cringed, and I imagine the others did, as well. Though blurry, it was clear to tell that the teacher was going to die in it. There was hardly even any color, just a few blurs and flashes. The only thing I could make out was hai-
"... The killer has purple hair,"The boy with red hair mumbled after a moment or so. I blinked, and almost everyone turned towards me, except the DIS Officer. I let out a stammer, raising my hands up in front of me.
"Ah, hey! It's not like I know how to kill someone! There's more people here with purple hair than you think...,"I explained, looking a bit distraught.
"We won't judge you just based on a bad quality video tape. We can't. Still, it's best keep an eye out for that hair color. How did you get in here, boy?" The DIS Officer quickly went on to say, not bothered at all at the revelation, or so it looked like to me.
"I found a weird paper in my desk, and I remembered the teacher hid it there and said no one to look at it. ... I don't really follow rules."
So it appeared he didn't. I let out a little laugh, going on to comment, but I paused, frowning as a headache came on. I blamed stress for that, honestly, as I reached up to hold my head with one hand once more. I cleared my throat, giving a small grin.
"Ah, I know I should be looked at, but I'd like to go see the nurse's about this new headache I have...,"I commented, a little helplessly.
The girl with goggles just stared at me, then at the video tapes, than back at me, before speaking,"... Yeah. That's awfully convenient of you."
"Ah, hey! I really did nothing..."
"He's innocent until proven guilty. We'll drop by the nurse's office. Boy with red hair, I expect you to follow. It's dangerous to go out alone while a Glitch is wandering around the place." The officer quipped quickly, glancing back at the boy who looked to be very reluctant. The messy haired boy just stared off, before reluctantly nodding.
While we were on the way to the nurse's office, I had to think to myself about what to do. I certainly felt terrible, but I shouldn't really play it out. Who knew that the killer had purple hair! Ah, this was quite difficult, indeed...
Once entering, I opened up the room. A girl with lavender-like hair and pink ribbons was sleeping on one of the beds. Oh, how lucky, I should really take a nap, as well. I chuckled, entering with the others following behind me. Everything seemed to go well, but--
I felt really short of breath, and incredibly dizzy. Really, what's going on with me? I couldn't be this sick, could I? I breathed in and out a bit shakily, before going to sit down. The girl with the eye patch frowned, seeming to be concerned for my safety, as she sat down a crossed from me.
"Did you catch a cold while you were here? You seem ill,"She commented, still in that somewhat serious tone, but with a hint of worry on it. Oh dear, that really wasn't needed for someone like me...
The boy with red hair eye'd the girl in the bed, before simply leaning against the wall, not wanting to sit down, apparently. The DIS Officer took a quick glance around, also staring at the girl in bed for a few moments, before sighing under his breath, mumbling. I couldn't hear it. I could barely hear myself...
"Me? Ill? Just a bit. I'll be fine...,"I assured, smiling through the sickening pain I felt.
I really felt quite inhuman...
...
Ah...
oH *%^no...
I quickly stood up, eyes wide and paranoid, now. "Ah-I... I need to go... To the bathroom!"I quickly shouted, turning to try and run out. The DIS Officer reached over to stop me, shaking his head.
"Hey, what's wrong? The sink's right there if you need to puke." He told me. No, no that's not it Officer, I...!
"Really, I don't feel good and I might do the--Aghh!" I couldn't do it. I couldn't keep pretending. my body really didn't want me to, anymore. ... I was quite foolish to think it might continue.
My body was changing right infront of the DIS Officer's eyes. My body appeared to almost blow itself apart, blue hues being left behind, and only my reddish auburn eyes being what was once me.
I stepped backwards, just as a loud announcement sounded, and the DIS Officer's outfit quickly morphed into a riot armor.
Warning: The Purple Haired Boy is a confirmed Glitch. Elimination objective issued.
Ah, I was completely doomed. It seemed, even if I did commit that sin before... I was going to pay no matter what.
