Witch Spawn would be kind of terrible-And I only say that because there'd be no one to FIGHT it. And no one to SEE it if it's in ANY mode.

Options are always good as long as there's demand. If they get abused it's the fault of the host, not the feature itself.

As far as the witch idea goes, it has no worth. A randomly spawning witch that cannot be killed provides no benefits to a round. If for some reason one is needed, it can be spawned by an admin, which is far more reliable than a random chance. Regardless, this is not the thread for these ideas, keep it to the design of the modes themselves please.

Really like the idea of the "Gem Collector' role. An antagonist Magi with their own motives working to stop Kyubey and collect the soul gem of the other Magi could be really interesting and would be a fun dynamic to play off of.

Shiki: About the hunter role. I think this role should never have been optional, I would say it is necessary if it is expected for players to not metagame, I can't remember a single time I died as a Shiki and didn't got staked with no hunter in the game, and then they would come up with any random excuse to say why it is not meta insta-staking the shikis, even if they didn't came back a single time and also never even mentioned being immortal in the first place. I feel like the hunter role is actually necessary in order to stop the metagame overall, though not sure if it is necessary for it to have allies with roles, as they are most likely going to recruit the normals, but would be nice to have one ally to balance it out with the shikis. Maybe also give them something to neutralize or reduce the shiki's damage-over-time thing.
About making Jinrou and Adoptive an optional role, first I don't think making both optional works for the plot and also would make it very fragile, the round could possibly end with just the Shiki Master getting destroyed and that's it, also how are the shikis are going back home at 6AM if there is nobody to carry them? It's not too fun to be a loner antagonist either. I feel like maybe the adoptive could be optional, or maybe one or another, but making both optional doesn't seems like it would work for the best...
Also, if adding those changes, the chance to rise as a shiki should probally be higher, as it is going downhill for the shiki team if they have a bad RNG.
Madoka: Yes! it would be very nice to have the shoot verb in a skill button instead, actually it would also be nice for the Tsukihime mode skills, but anyway... I don't think anyone would be agains't adding new witches because well... obviously. The only thing about the first lines I would say is the way Walpurgis spawn, maybe it should -aways- spawn at 5 and this is the goal of recruiting the magis (on the magis point of view) in the first place.
For the Kyubey grief bar, great. But I guess Kyubey also should get something for making a contract, say... maybe the ability to grant one wish, which could be things like an skill given to the magis (Or the remotion of one, say... blind/deaf/crippled/mute/frail) perhaps custom ones like something to force someone to listen to you, heal etc, maybe the creation of an item, a red line saying something heappened outside of the school or even the ability to revive a dead player.
About the gender lock thing, maybe instead of being able to contract every single one from a certain sex Kyubey should be able to contract a certain number of magis based on the ammount of grief he is holding, perhaps also make it so Kyubey fills the grief bar when the magis kill a witch, and even for geting a 'used grief seed' (Instead of the grief seed disappearing after being used by a magi, it turns into a used grief seed), this way Kyubey is enforced to contract competent and loyal magis, and also keep trying to fool the magis till the end.
The Gem collector thing, maybe this one magi could add a possible lose condition to Kyubey, as right now Kyubey just can't lose no matter what, but adding a 'Madoka role'(Try to contract vs don't allow to contract) probally wouldn't work and the whole gem stealing thing could be counter productive at some point (Ay, it ain't fun to stare at a black screen for thirty minutes), maybe her goal should be to somehow turn the magis agains't Kyubey and don't allow new contracts, making Kyubey lose his "grief bar", more than that, maybe this "grief bar" should be something like satisfaction in Tsukihime, so Kyubey can at least somehow lose. If the problem is the lack of witches after the first one is defeated, maybe one could randomly spawn after three hours without a witch, and as long Walpurgis is going to appear at 4~5AM there is still a goal (maybe the power of the walpurgis could be decided based on the ammount of grief Kyubey have, maybe it could even be born premature with a lower strenght if Kyubey is defeated at some point). This wouldn't be something very 'cannon', but if the goal was to go full cannon there wouldn't even be Puer Magis at all...
Zombie: Yes. The zombie tile at the entrance have spoken.
However I don't think it would be a very RP-intensive mode, but would probally be a fun mode anyway. It also doesn't need to be complicated, just making it pretty much like Pyrce with a few changes. Probally more than one player should start as a zombie on rounds with more people, just make it so they can break doors, taking more hits than an axe though. Maybe make it so they can't drag furniture but they can break it easily, so the survivors could use the furniture as a 'barricade'.
Depending on how far this is going, the first zombies could even be NPCs instead of a players, and the 'minion' zombies keep spawning each hour, then players would turn into special zombies instead of NPC ones when killed by them.

I'd appreciate it if Death Note Mode's announcement DIDN'T tell everyone to conceal their real name so players didn't threaten to tase and search people over requesting their name.
Since that apparently happens.
I mean, people already burn their wallets and PDAs around gamestart, whats next?

Right, let's go back to people not having an excuse for not wanting to hand over their names and forcing people to either metagame a reason not to give their name or risk dying because somebody asked what their name was and they just had no reason to say no.

Or you could retool the death note so that it isn't known as metanote anymore, ie by being around others for a while, Kira eventually becomes aware of their name anyway.

I like the idea of killers having a full mask. Might encourage killers to be a little braver, take more risks and make things interesting.
