While I find the fact that dying from a death note does give you a warning, I think you should lengthen the time between the warning and the death a little bit. It allows for someone to be given a chance to react easier, and it's fun to do so. Not by very long, maybe ten seconds or something like that, but it would be nice, if you get what I mean, yes?

Because if the roles are given to decent roleplayers, and once Kira and Shinigami Eyes find each other. Everything is done as done.

In addition to the request of lengthening the warning-death time interval, the Death Note now allows a choice between a bloody or clean death. Soon, though related to another topic, books will be able to be flipped through and written in/on.
