The Story
Bang! A gun's shot rings through the school as a person stands holding a smoking gun. As if in slow motion the teacher falls with blood pouring from her chest. As she hits the floor she is dead. From her belongings an item falls. This item is a black notebook called the Death Note. The person nears to pick it up whispering while they do, "It's over, it's finally over, Kira's dead." To this person's surprise the notebook vanishes. They remain stunned in silence for a time. Lights suddenly flash as the school's emergency protocol is triggered. Steel slams down to cover all the windows, a hidden metal door slams sealing the school. Now there is no way in or out. 'Something's wrong. Something is very wrong. items don't just vanish. Could it have moved on it's own to someone else?' ,the detective collects their thoughts while walking down the hall. Before slipping into their classroom they pull off the mask trying to keep cool and figure out what needs to be done.
Kira trembles on the inside from excitement. Kira sits as a normal student watching the time. A grin spreads over Kira's lips as a gunshot rang out at six. 'As I planned. The school now seals you in from a murder you commented. Now, you can not longer run. I will find and end you, who dares defy god...' Kira huffed in annoyance while looking again at the time, 'Damn you shinigami, you said you will be back with my Death Note. How long will you take?'
The Characters
The Detective- This is the final threat to Kira becoming 'God of the New World.' Most of the world accepts Kira as justice, however the detective stands as one of the few people willing to defy Kira. To the detective, Kira's actions are nothing but evil and Kira must be stopped. The detective starts by thinking they brought Kira to an end, but with the Death Note having vanished they know the case is not over.
Kira- Kira thinks himself or herself as a god. Kira brings justice to criminals using the Death Note allowing normal people to sleep easily. With a few battles against the detective it now comes to this night. Kira now intends to end what began some time ago, and reshape the world in his/ her image.
The Shinigami- Humans are interesting beings, so the Death God believes. On a whim the shinigami dropped the Death Note to Earth out of boredom, and Kira has proven amusing. The Shinigami really does not care who will win, nor will it kill a human to help Kira. That would be too easy. The Shinigami intends to simply stick around and keep itself amused in whatever way it sees fit.
Shinigami Eyes- A human with, you guessed it, Shinigami Eyes. How this person gained Shinigami Eyes is up for debate, however in the past Kira and this person worked together through anonymous messages.
Differences to Death Note Mode
Shinigami Eyes- Shinigami Eyes can now only be used on one person at a time. Each time Shinigami is used the user takes health damage, so it is more important to know you NEED a person's name before you take it. On top of this, if you have the Shinigami eyes role, you will not be able to heal from first aid kits, thus making it more important of whose name you wish to learn.
Kira- Kira no longer spawns with a Death Note. Kira spawns with apples, which can be used to bribe the shinigami.
The Detective- The detective also does not spawn with a Death Note, spawns with a pistol.
Death Note- The Shinigami spawns with Kira's Death Note.
The Shinigami- At the start only Kira can see/ hear the shinigami. However, the shinigami has a verb, 'Touch with Death Note page' This enables a person selected by the shinigami to see it. The Shinigami also can not be attacked/ attack/ but can pass through walls. Also, Shinigami eyes will not give the Shinigami's name, yet if tried health is taken from the user that can not be reversed.
