Ever been playing a round, and it's just getting to the good bits, when suddenly... 6am arrives! The game ends!
All that work, and you don't even get to go through with your incredible plot twist, your victims escape death,
My suggestion is thus. Next to 'Request End Game', include a 'Request More Time' button, which goes to a vote much the same as End Game. Have options such as '1 hour, 2 hour,' etc, depending on how much longer you need.
As for ICly, there could be a message from the system. For example: "The relevant authorities have experienced a delay in attending the scene." I'm sure someone can think of better that that though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you feel like you need more time in a round, you're doing it wrong. You should keep the clock in mind during your RPs the same way your character is counting down the hours as they wait.
Also, the fact that the doors open at 6AM is the relevant authorities being delayed, implied to be due to a downed phone line. The 6AM opening time is most likely due to the fact that that's when the teachers arrive and notice the lockdown. Which, at that point, makes any further delays unlikely.
Besides, all of the people waiting to join in the next round would be incredibly annoyed if they had to wait just because the only two people left in the game felt like making out instead of letting the doors open.

Aquan brings up great points, so why not compromise? Make it an option that hosts can toggle on/off as they please; an option that is off by default.
