Rokkenjima Mode
Mode Theme: One Winged Bird by Shikata Akiko
Mode Overview
This mode is pretty much Umineko mode with 2 more roles added in to spice it up and make it so the other players are 'included'. The Witches role now is simply not to 'kill' but rather prove the existence of a magical answer in the Culprits murders. The Detective's job is to disprove the magical answers and prove that this could have been pulled off by Logical means.
Roles:
The True Culprit:
You're the True Answer and the Killer, you're the answer to everything that happened here and will happen. You're able to lie, because you're a culprit, allowing you to lie with the Purple Declaration, a feat no other student may perform. You killed your mother out of greed to get money she had set out for you after her demise, only to find that if she had been killed by you, you do not get it. So your job is to kill all possible witnesses.
The Golden Witch:
You're the Golden Witch and Game Master of this Catbox. You're here to prove all the murders were done by magical means, and are to prove the detective's logic wrong. You know the true culprit and can base your Red and Blue truths upon that. You and the Detective cannot be culprits as you do not count for part of the gameboard, however you can interact with the pieces.. a bit.. To try and prove magic...
The Detective:
You're the Detective and Investigator of this Catbox. You're here to prove all the murders were done by a human, and are to prove the witches false magic incorrect. You do not know the culprit, and this is who you must find. You know that every human here can use the Purple Declaration.. However.. The Culprit can lie with it. So it's hard to tell whom is lying. You can use the Knox and Blue to your advantage though, and you are not a piece, nor is the witch, so you are not the culprit.
The Suspect:
You're the suspect, formally announced at 8 p.m., you cannot be the Witch, Detective, or Killer, and your job is to prove yourself innocent by using the Purple Declaration statements, however, don't screw up, for it could cost a few lives.
Mode Rules:
1. The Detective and Witch may not be the Culprit. The Suspect may not be the culprit, however the Culprit may be 'a suspect'.
2. Anyone may use the Purple Declaration, the Purple Declaration must state the exact truth and must not be a lie, unless you're a 'Culprit'.
3. The Witch must not interfere with the modes murder scenes, and must not edit them to his/her own approval, they must leave them as the Culprit has set them up. However, the Culprit may make a murder scene look 'magical'.
4. The Detective may not use the above rule as a reason to explain that magic is not real, this meaning that even if a room isn't a closed murder, there is still a way it could have been set up as a magical possibility.
5. The Witch may not enlist the elements of harmful magical spells to harm any student, the detective, or any 'outside interference'. The witch can only use a harmful magical element to defend his or her self if they are being physically attacked by a person whom believes in magic.
6. As a balance, the Detective may not make use of his/her magical ability to vanish without a Logical explanation, not including Raiments.
Mode Special:
- Everyone Spawns With Knowledge of Their Partner Roles.
- The Detective and Witch Spawn with Knowledge of Each Other.
- There is always a suspect, and never will it be the culprit, as this is the way of 'Umineko' However the Culprit may be a 'suspect'.
- All players may use Font Coloring of a Purple color to define Purple Declaration, also a Purple Declaration Verb.
- The Detective actually has to find the culprit this time, to win.
- The Witch is not the Killer and thus has no reason to use Summon Butterfly Swarm, unless a Player is Killing them and Believes in Magic.
- The Detective, as a Balance, has no reason to use Butterfly Form, without logical reasoning, and reasons cannot include Raiments.
