And now, for another drop in the flood of new modes that has been happening recently. Probably a bit unoriginal, but here's another group antag mode, this time instead of it being vampires, it's a magical cult. There are only two roles in this mode, and one of them only spawns on occasion. Let's take a look, shall we?
The Killer:
The killer in this mode is a cultist, as should be self explanatory. What isn't self explanatory, however, is that this first cultist serves one of four evil gods and four different playstyles, in order to mix up gameplay. The god that the cultist serves is completely up to themselves, and not to the RNG. The cultist's job is to forcefully convert others to the service of his god, which is done by dropping an opponent to under 15%, then attacking them again. The victim is then knocked out, fully healed, and forced into the service of the god the killer serves. The killer is given a message when this happens, in order to help prevent the accidental murders of allies. The killer also has magical powers granted by their god in order to hasten and simplify the process of converting the school into servants of said god. These powers extend to the converted cultists as well, though the killer has a small leg up on his fellow disciples, ranging from a small buff to an extra ability unavailable to normal cultists. These powers differ from god to god, listed in the killer's role description. For the sake of accuracy, it will be listed here as well.
The Gods:
Gruumsh, The God of Slaughter and Destruction:
Gruumsh's playstyle is fairly straightforward. His is the path of chaos, and as such his disciples are fairly overt. All of Gruumsh's cultists have boosted attack damage and maximum health. However, all of Gruumsh's disciples, excluding the killer, have a visible blood red aura around them. The killer also has a small defensive buff as well. Overall, going with Gruumsh is simple, and a good way to go if you're confident in your PVP abilities.
Lolth, The Goddess of Shadows and Lies:
Lolth is almost the complete opposite of Gruumsh. Where Gruumsh is overt, Lolth is subtle. All of Lolth's cultists have the ability to turn themselves invisible temporarily, going completely invisible, as well as sound and trackless. However, while cloaked, cultists of Lolth cannot attack people, and are drained of stamina whilst cloaked. The killer is not too much different than other cultists of Lolth, besides the fact that they do not have the stamina drain of the cloak.
Tharizdun, the Chained Elemental Eye:
At the beginning of the round, Tharizdun's cultists are completely powerless, aside from the ability to mark other people as sacrifices to Tharizdun. Cultists cannot be marked, and marked people cannot become cultists. Upon the death of four marks, however, Tharizdun is freed from his chains and every cultist excluding the killer is granted the ability to wreathe themselves in Tharizdun's magical flames. These flames enhance both the speed and damage of the wielder. The advantage that the killer has in comparison to his bretheren is the fact that they already have access to the Elemental Eye's magical flames, as well as the ability to summon Earthenclad Armor, which enhances the killer's defense. Freeing Tharizdun does not affect the killer in any way, however. Tharizdun, overall, is a potent investment.
Tiamat, the Evil Goddess of Dragons:
Tiamat's disciples are fairly weak compared to the rest. They are still more powerful than the unfaithful, but only barely so. The real strength in going with Tiamat, however, is the fact that the killer is much, much more powerful than the rest of the disciples of Tiamat. The killer has been transformed into a dragonblood, a sort of bipedal, wingless dragon. They have access to double the strength, defense, and health of a normal human. However, this is only accessible in dragonblood form, as the killer can transform between their dragonblood form and their normal, human form. The downside, aside from most of the cult's strength centered around the original cultist, is that there is an enemy of the cult present. A disciple of Bahamut, the good god of dragons, is also present upon choosing Tiamat. This disciple is a dragonblood as well, with the same strengths as the killer while in their own dragonblood form.
Bugs:
Other than these few bugs, the mode seems to work perfectly. PM me over pager if there are indeed any bugs found while playing.

Bugs:
- If a cultist of Tharizdun uses Mark Sacrifice whilst no one is present within eyeshot, no one will be marked, but it will count towards the mark number, which cannot be larger than four. If this happens, Tharizdun will be unable to be freed. It may be a good idea for the killer to mark all of the sacrifices first, then to go about converting.
- If more than one cultists of Lolth outside of the killer use cloak, the one who cloaked first will be drained of stamina, but not any of the other cultists.
Not a bug, but there are no sprites currently available for the mode. All visual effects currently do not work as there are no sprites to represent said effects.UPDATE: I have made some rudimentary placeholder sprites, as well as borrowed a couple from other modes. They are not good sprites, but they'll work until someone else is willing to make some.
