Welcome to the Misuterii High forums. I'm sure that some of you will have some questions about the game and hopefully I can answer them for you.
;watcherf;What is Misuterii High?
As stated on the hub, Misuterii High is an anime inspired roleplaying game designed as a spiritual sequel to "Mitadake High".
The scenario is simple: In the titular school "Misuterii High", a teacher is murdered by one of the students after school at 6PM. This sets off the school's security system, which alerts the other student and places the school on lockdown, locking them in with the culprit. Their objective is to survive or, if they feel daring enough, to track down the real culprit and expose them to bring an end to the killing.
The killer's job is to wipe out the other students and become the last one remaining.
This is the scenario for the "Normal mode", but the game contains various other modes that put a spin on it with a basis in anime, such as the "Death note" mode and the "Umineko" mode which feature Kira and the Golden Witch as culprits.
A more in-depth newbie guide will be available in the future, once development has progressed further
;watcherm;Spiritual Sequel?
Misuterii was created to bring updates to the classic Mitadake formula while keeping the original appeal, such as the iconic alias system, giving each player a descriptive name like "The Black Haired Boy".
Another factor in the creation of the game was to provide a space for players to host their own servers without having game staff and moderators intruding on their space. Essentially, on your server you are the highest authority. You are even free to ban me from your server if you wish.
You may even choose your own staff by selecting mini-hosts, who will have the power to boot players from the round and mute them if they break your rules, so that keeping the peace isn't entirely up to you, and you can leave it in the hands of people you trust.
I hope that I can provide the same enjoyment I've experienced from the original, with much needed upgrades and fixes
;watcherf;What are the rules?
As the staff will not be intruding on publically hosted servers, there are no official rules, with one exception.
I can provide some guidelines, however, for what sort of rules you may be expected to follow

As the staff will not be intruding on publically hosted servers, there are no official rules, with one exception.
I can provide some guidelines, however, for what sort of rules you may be expected to follow
- No ERP: This is the one exception mentioned and no servers are permitted to allow players to do this (If you host a private server amongst yourself and invited players you can do what you like though).
Basically though, this means that you are not allowed to engage in sexual RP with other players. - No griefing: If you play the game, you're expected not to intentionally try to ruin the fun for other players. This includes things like running around and randomly attacking people for no reason, taking items to keep them all to yourself or harassing them verbally like insulting them. Sexist, racist, homophobic, etc insults especially will probably not be tolerated by the hosts
- No meta-gaming: As this is an RP game, you will probably be expected (unless explicitly stated) to engage in the RP properly. You don't have to be an expert however, as the game is light RP by default. You will be expected to not give out in-game information in the main chat and to not act on information that you know, but your character doesn't (i.e; If you know how the shinigami eyes work, but your character doesn't, your character shouldn't act based on this information.
- Have fun. We're here to RP and play out some murder mysteries so expect to die in less than satisfying ways. Try not to get angry when this happens as it's part of the game. Also remember that not everyone needs to be a great RPer for a round to be fun. A poor RPer can often spice up a round in ways that a group consisting only of great RPers might be too hesitant to do. So give them a chance and let things get out of your control from time time.
Hopefully this has answered some of the questions you might have. If there's anything else you want to know, just ask!
