He stood, not bothering to take a moment to look around the area once more, before pocketing the key forcefully and going to rush back out of the room. "Uhh, Why,"He murmured to himself, wondering why he did what he did, but it was too late to take that back.
Once out, he would shout once more a greeting in that awkward tone of his, a "Hello? Hello, Hello!"

No response but another echo.

He almost pouted, but he didn't. Instead, he slowly wandered back down the hallway towards where the water he heard, going to go through the door again and shamble his way over to the door he had neglected earlier. He was completely lost, and at the moment taking another nap didn't seem all that bad anymore.

AS Joseph approached the door, he would see dampness occurring just underneath the door, where the dirt upon the tiles pooled up into grimy black tendrils of watery death across the ground.
Despite being closer to the door, the rushing water sound seemed to be getting quieter...?

He looked confused. This made little sense--the door didn't. He had a bad feelings about this, but nevertheless he reached a hand out to try and open the door up. He awkwardly leaned in an attempt to not step in the murky waters, despite his boots being mostly water worthy.

Upon opening the door, a hallway identical to his own was revealed-... except that there was a hole in the wall from which and plentiful stream of water was pouring out of. Right infront of Joseph's eyes, however, the water gradually became smaller until it ceased to flow, leaving behind a flooded hallway of murky water that covered most of the floor.
Inside the middle room of that hallway, there was a mere mattress. The bulb in that room was broken and off. The two bulbs in the new hallway worked just fine.

The torrent of water was something he didn't expect, nor did he want. He sputtered, going to cover his mouth again with his sleeve this time. After the flooded hallway came into few, he cautiously treaded forward, calling out once more in a slightly more hoarse voice. "Hello! Uh, hello, hello?"
He spit a few times, shaking his head and blinking his eyes a few times. Eugh.

No response. The door at the end of this new hallway, however, appeared to be locked from the outside...

Joseph quietly sloshed his way through the hallway, going to cross his arms over his chest. Was it chilly? Must be just him. After getting to the door, he reached a hand out, going to..knock on it, like a nice, polite guy.

No response. The door was definitely a door with a room or hallway on the other side, however, because Joseph could hear the echo of his knock.

Was this area simply a never-ending amount of hallways with macabre things laden in here? He was so tired now, but he didn't know if it was because he was slowly becoming less scared and more exhausted, or for some other reason. He simply went to try to open the locked door, perhaps too tired to notice that it was locked. Of course he would try to unlock it when he realized this, the silly boy he was.

The key did not fit into the lock all the way!

That failed. He stepped back, tucking the key away and sighing. Maybe he should check that room that was probably like his? He turned, shuffling away. If nothing came up, he'd probably just retire back to his own room, maybe hope no one would kill him during so. Wow, he was already thinking very negatively. He wandered towards the room with the broken bulb, rubbing at his eyes a bit more.

Everything was okay at the moment. Dirty and grimy, but okay... When Joseph walked back to his room, however, a subtle crunching sound could be heard... footsteps were approaching the door. The jingle of keys. The turning of a key in a lock...!?

He didn't like the sound of that. He had froze, standing there in the middle of the small room. He would wait to find out what that was.
